Planned Release

PIC32 beta compilers have arrived!

It' an honor to us to be able to present you with PIC32 beta compilers. You may freely download demo versions restricted to 2K of program words from following download buttons:

Thank you all for your kind support during the development, and for your participation in discussions on our PIC32 community website. It is a historic day for all of us, and we are now counting on your support to complete the circle. We need your active participation in following beta period of two weeks, so we can correct all of our mistakes and add extra features for the final release. Please take a few moments of your time to read the following instructions:

Reporting bugs

We invite you to test all features of the compiler. Don't spear us the criticism. Don't hesitate to point us to the tiniest of mistakes. Test IDE features, Statistics module, Tools, Interrupt Assistant, Libraries, Compiler speed and optimization, Software simulator, and everything you can think of. Report bugs and share your ideas on our forum, under categories for PIC32 beta testing:

- mikroC PRO for PIC32 beta forum
- mikroBasic PRO for PIC32 beta forum
- mikroPascal PRO for PIC32 beta forum

And once again, let us remind you: beta period lasts two weeks. Be sure to report as much as you can in the first week so we can start correcting bugs and implementing your ideas right away. Don't wait the last moment to share your contributions, because we would really like to implement as much of your suggestions as possible.

Atmosphere surrounding the release

It is a small celebration here in mikroElektronika. After little over four months of hard work we were able to have a beta release with all major segments completed. It has been quite a journey from the beginning and we grew together with the project. We have put all accumulated knowledge from building existing compilers into PIC32 compilers, and we did things much faster and with greater wisdom too. We are now ready to take it all one step further and listen to your proposals and suggestions in order to have the right tool that community needs. We need one more step to polish things a bit and to complete the this development circle.

It's going to be a hot and exciting PIC32 winter.

Yours sincerely,
mikroE Team

Hallo,
CAN library is already done.
Testing was finished yesterday.
Unfortunately, it was too late for this beta release.
It will be included in the official release.

If you are eager to try it,
I might be able to provide you with an prerelease library file ;)

Best regards,
Srdjan.

Great work !!
Splendidly I am inspired!
Your work is hopefully recompensed richly.
I have a little hardware already, therefore, also my Blog about the limit the beta.
I also hoped for the CAN-Lib, but TFT pictures would be also to be tried out nicely..... Demo limit.
Now I would buy with pleasure to remove the limit ;-)

Best regards Helmut

I agree Helmut
I will imidiatly buy the compiler when we mikro release it ,
I have learned in the last couple of years that we grow togther with mikro
They learn from us what is needed in the tools and they are always prepaired to improve the tools
We will stay with you mikro and do as you did in the past listen to your partners in the field using the tools too what you should implement in the tools

Best regards
Peter
